Home Owner Association & Condominium Law This practice area group in the firm represents developers in the filings of condominium development, as well as counseling landowners on the formation of master development plans for residential use. The practice group addresses many topics involved with multi-family developments including preparation of covenants and restrictions, Planned Unit Developments, dedications of public and other rights-of-way, and conservation easements to address wetlands and other environmental issues that are consistent with the requirements of the various governmental authorities who have jurisdiction over the property. The attorneys can assist in securing the right to purchase the real estate necessary for multi-family use, including site plan and zoning approvals, compliance with the local governmental codes and ordinances, negotiating construction contracts and securing construction financing. The firm also provides representation to condominium and homeowner associations on matters of general representation, including the drafting of Declarations of Covenants and Restrictions, and Bylaws and amendments. Our attorneys also assist with the preparation of the association’s minutes and supervision of the association’s annual meetings and election of officers and directors.
