Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo, LLP Associate Attorney Christina M. Russo joined fellow Associate Attorney MaryKate Brigham for The Fork It Alzheimer’s Event this past Saturday, July 12 in Bridgehampton, NY. Ms. Russo serves as a Board Member for The Alzheimer’s Association Long Island Chapter. Ms. Brigham serves as a Committee Member for The Alzheimer’s Association Walk To End Alzheimer’s.
The Fork It Alzheimer’s Event was hosted for the fourth time by Daryl and Irwin Simon and it aims to fund research to prevent Alzheimer’s and other dementias, in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association. Since its start, the event has raised nearly $3 million for advanced research that combines technology, lifestyle changes, and blood biomarkers.
The evening featured delightful food, dancing, and community engagement for a vital cause. The event was attended by roughly 400 people and connects the local community, with the funds also being utilized for programs and local efforts for the New York City and Long Island Chapters of the Association. The Alzheimer’s Association’s commitment to combating this disease is making a significant impact. Continued support is needed until a cure is found.
