On Monday, October 6, Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo, LLP attorney MaryKate Brigham delivered a presentation on Estate Planning to the local community at Mattituck-Laurel Library. The event aimed to educate the public about estate planning essentials, long-term care planning, and strategies to plan for future generations.
Ms. Brigham shared her expertise in Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Elder Law with the group present. She provided invaluable tips on navigating the estate planning process, including information on federal and state estate tax exclusions along with long term care planning, strategies to ensure your family is protected in the event of an incapacity, as well as a thorough evaluation of the advantages and disadvantages of more advanced estate planning techniques.
During the presentation, there were several questions raised by participants which Ms.Brigham answered thoughtfully and thoroughly. The presentation was well received by attendees, as many of which stayed afterwards to personally thank Ms. Brigham.
