The Retreat, eastern Long Island’s only comprehensive domestic violence services agency, has appointed Senior Partner Stephen Latham to the Board of Directors. Mr. Latham is also Counsel to The Retreat. His volunteer resume includes service at the East Hampton Youth Alliance, where he served as a Board Member and Counsel, and the Children’s Museum of the East End, where he served as Counsel.
Mr. Latham’s practice areas are commercial and residential real estate development and commercial and environmental litigation. Mr. Latham has served as special counsel to the City of Glen Cove and the City of Long Beach. He has been an adjunct faculty member at Williams College, Former Chairman of the Environmental Law Committee of the Suffolk County Bar Association. Mr. Latham has been a partner at Twomey, Latham for 37 years and has lived on eastern Long Island since 1977.
