This July, results from the Alzheimer’s Association U.S. POINTER — a two-year, randomized controlled clinical trial — provided the rigorous data needed to say with confidence that a combination of healthy behaviors meaningfully protects brain health across diverse populations at risk for dementia in the United States. U.S. POINTER is the single largest research commitment the Alzheimer’s Association has made in its history. There is no other organization in the world that could have conducted this community-based study for brain health.
