The law firm of Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo announced the recipients of its annual Community Service Scholarships. This is the twenty-sixth consecutive year the Firm has awarded scholarships in East Hampton, Southampton and Riverhead, and the twelfth consecutive year the Firm has awarded a scholarship in Mattituck.
On June 11, 2026 at Southampton High School Senior Awards Night, the 2026 Scholarships were awarded to Ralph Carballal and Hannah Pak.
Mr. Carballal volunteered with the Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance as well as the Southampton Village Ocean Rescue. Mr. Carballal was also a member of the National Honor Society, serving as the president. Mr. Carballal was awarded a scholarship from the Rochester Institute of Technology for his achievements.
Ms. Pak volunteered for The SAVE Promise Club, a youth leadership initiative of Sandy Hook Promise, which provides resources and training to prevent school violence. Ms. Pak also served for the GLI (Girls Learn International) Human Rights Club, which is a youth-empowerment and advocacy program focusing on human rights, civic engagement, gender equality, and reproductive rights. Ms. Pak will be attending New York University in the fall.
The scholarship for each recipient includes a check to help with college expenses.
